Kinga Dobay

MEZZOSOPRANO

Jingle Bells Revue

The surprise of the evening was all-round talent Kinga Dobay, who sang, tap-danced and skated as the Christmas bunny.

Because underneath the warming plush ears is a tap-dancing, ice-skating and wonderfully singing artist who shines in her versatility, like a Marika Röck of the turn of the millennium. The artist's name is Kinga Dobay. It's a pity that her type of role is no longer as much in demand today as it was sixty years ago. She steals the show from Gayle Tufts in the role of the lively rabbit, who hops across the stage and is simply adorable, and wins the most applause. And rightly so. Berliner Zeitung November 28, 2002
